More competitors, more people, more sponsors, more fun than ever. This year’s return of the East End Challenge brought boats from as far away as Whitby, from the several clubs in the Bluffers Basin, from Ashbridges Bay YC in substantial numbers, and a large turnout of our own racers from TH&SC.
Division 1 Big Flying Sails winners
In particular, there was a very strong showing by TH&SC volunteers who ran the committee boat, made breakfast and bbq dinners on Friday, Saturday and Sunday including one of the largest outdoor regatta dinners in club history serving 160 racers and friends.
The list of sponsors was impressive: The Rigging Shoppe, Bay Sails, Rorschach Brewing and Nicholas Pearce Wines were on board with prizes and hospitality. The organizing committee headed by Rear Commodore Paul Lewis and Race Captain Bryan Pelkey put in enormous effort to build a fleet of participants and keep ticket prices rock bottom.

What an Event/Party!!!! The East End Challenge was an incredible success and THSC represented itself by once again proving we are the best club on the lake.
