Cubans join THSC for a blowout Latino Canada Day bash

Our annual Cuban/Canada Day Pig Roast was this weekend and what a blast!!!

It’s an annual one-of-a-kind event and based on the comments, smiles, dancing, hang overs, tired muscles, etc. it was an incredible success. Quite possibly, the largest attended event in many years at the club (estimated number > 220).

A big shoutout to the people who made this event possible (I apologize if I missed anyone, but the day was a blur [also alcohol may have contributed too]).

Armando – Event Founder/Host/etc.

Cubans – Pig Roasters, Cooks, Sausage making, Servers, Co-organizers, etc.

Club members – dancing, cleaning up, sharing the costs, contributing in so many ways.

The very next morning D-dock hosted a superb breakfast once again celebrating Canada/Latino cuisine and culture (in this case, Mexican, our major North American partner)

 

It was an astounding doubleheader.
