Back when fuel was cheap, boat speed limits were non-existent and tool sheds ruled, The Toronto Hydroplane Club, the original name of THSC, was the hub of hydroplane racing in Canada. Today, our newly created Hydroplane Wall opposite the main entrance takes us back to the 50s and 60s when our boats, like Colorflame II and Miss Supertest dominated the waters. Don McDonald, a racing star and multi -time Toronto Hydroplane Club commodore is honoured for his achievements.

A second wall in the Farquar Lounge displays the many awards Don won on behalf of the club, while at the south end of the club, Harmswroth Trophy winner from 1959, 1969 and 1961, Miss Supertest III, graces the wall.
