Ahoy, Toronto Hydroplane & Sailing Club Members and Crew!

The calendar says we’re nearing the end of the year, which means it’s time to batten down the hatches and chart a course for the best New Year’s Eve party this side of the seven seas!

Forget the frosty harbour—we’re bringing the heat (and a few sea shanties) for a spontaneous, pop-up New Year’s Eve celebration!

• When: December 31st
• Time: The Anchor Drops at 8:00 PM
• Where: The Club House (Our safe harbor for the evening)

🏴‍☠️ Provisions and Party Details:

We’re keeping it casual and communal, so prepare to be a stellar crewmate!

• BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze): Bring your best “grog” of choice. Whether you prefer fine rum, champagne, or a simple bottle of water (that you might spike later), stock your personal provisions.
• BYOA (Bring Your Own Appetizer): No need for a five-course captain’s dinner—just bring your favourite “grub” to share. Finger foods, dips, or that one dish you secretly hope no one else touches… bring it all!

🎤 Entertainment and Merriment:

We’ll be navigating through the night with high spirits and high notes:

• Music & Dancing: Getting you ready to launch into the new year.
• Karaoke: Time to prove if you have the voice of a siren or just the sound of a foghorn. (Bonus points if your song choice includes a maritime theme!)
• General Merriment: We guarantee fewer duties than being on watch at 3 AM.
